Have you always wanted a mad-sik-JDM Taxi-cab, but deep down desire the “style”and plush “leather” seating only a Bentley can provide?
YES?! Well have I got the car for you!
While perusing TradeMe (like eBay, but kiwi) at 1am I found this;
Style AND grace, and chromies for the homies.
I love big boots and I cannot lie..........yes boots, not trunks
Now I know you may be thinking “but Pete, thats just a classic Bentley, how is that even slightly fully-mad-JDM bro?” but I’m here to tell you that IF you look closely you may be able to tell its actually based on a Nissan Crew aka those boring frumpy sedans you see lining up at Narita Airport.

Mitsuoka make their living by taking cars and removing either end and then reattaching ends styled after English cars from back when Tweed was a must have material. While they seem very adept at the creation of these, their choice of vehicle and the modification of the rest of it leave a lot to be desired.
For the inside after fitting seats that look more vinyl then fine corinthian leather, they seem to have smothered the dashboard in plastic that they have found in a dumpster outside a Real-Tree camouflage factory and then as a piece de resistance they’ve gone and disguised the cars heritage by cunningly putting a sticker over the Nissan roundel on the steering wheel.
Technically the car is standard, with it running a SOHC 2-litre version of the much loved RB motor good for all of 100kw.
As they say here in NZ, R-f**kin-B
Now the real question is why on earth a car dealer imported one to New Zealand!
If for some reason you want one, it can be yours for NZ$8990 or 6427 of your finest U.S. monies.

Hey at least this is based on the Y31 that started its life as a RWD luxury car. Mitsuoka’s other stuff are based Corollas and Sunnies (read: Sentras)
